About Rod

The dog in my profile picture was Bandit, who we lost to bone cancer in early 2023. As you may guess, I've had trouble letting go of him.

I'm an introverted code monkey who has been working with computers since the days of core memory and paper tape. I mostly work on firmware or system software for small embedded ARM devices these days. I like dogs, interesting books, blues/roots music, British comedy, flavorful beers, and Unix-like OSes.
