About Herb Rice Artist

There was a time when I wore suits, debated indigenous issues, argued with those who represented us, both Provincial and Federal. At times I even disputed with those who represented the tribe I was supposed to be a part of.
For the last 33 yrs, I have chosen my own space and my own career as an artist-woodcarving, totems, doors etc.
It is a difficult career, not for the feint of heart...always learning and always pushing to accomplish new techniques and understandings.
